The women of the Victorian
Era
shared and supported
one another through the good times
and the difficult times.
We are here to do the same thing
for one another today.
God played a very important role
in the lives of Victorian Ladies and
He plays just as important a part
in our lives today.
For Strength and Courage
to face what life brings with a
smile
and a friendly word for each other
The description you have
just read is the creed of the ladies known as Victorians at Heart. For the
last few years I have been privileged to be a member of this lovely group
of women. They are from all over the globe, and all have one thing in common,
a love for the Victorian era, a kinder, gentler era of bygone day. The
kindness, generosity, and open warmth these ladies show one another is
heartwarming. They share laughter, tears, prayers and joy in one another. I am
indeed honored to be a member of such a fine group, and am proud to call
myself a member of Victorians at Heart.
I would like to thank
the designer of our site Judith M. Warren, known to us at VAH as the Purple
Queen! The moderator and founder of VAH, Judith’s skills and boundless
energies as a website designer, doll maker, and multi talented artist are
evident as you view Victoria Station website.
For over two years we
searched for someone who understood the era we try to emulate in our work.
There is no doubt in my mind God led us to her. Not only does she understand
the era, but as an artist, she understood the importance of conveying that
feeling in the appearance of this site.
We are forever grateful.
